Credit Suisse Lowers Gold 2012 Forecast to $1,755 from $1,850

Gold will average $1,755 an ounce in 2012, down from an earlier estimate of $1,850 an ounce, Credit Suisse AG said in a report today. Bullion will average $1,795 an ounce in 2013, up from a previous call of $1,790 an ounce, it said. The bank also expects the metal to average $1,450 an ounce in 2014, higher than an earlier target of $1,425 an ounce.
