Spanish Bank ECB Borrowings Rise to 118.9 Billion Euros

Spanish banks’ average borrowings from the European Central Bank rose in December to their highest level in 18 months after lenders tapped its three-year loans.
Borrowings reached 118.9 billion euros ($152 billion) in December from 98 billion euros in November, the Bank of Spain said on its website today.
