December and Year-to-Date U.S. Light Vehicle Sales Table

U.S. sales of cars and light trucks rose 8.7 percent to 1,238,939 in December from the year-earlier month. For the year through December 31, sales rose 10.2 percent to 12,734,356.
Including imports, total car sales rose 6.7 percent to 543,671 and sales of light trucks rose 10.3 percent to 695,268. Light trucks include minivans, sport utility vehicles and pick up trucks.
