Russian Blogger Navalny May Run for President, Kommersant Says

Alexey Navalny, a Russian blogger who campaigns for transparency at state-run companies, said he may run for president against Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Kommersant reported.
Navalny made the announcement at about 3 a.m. Moscow time today after being released from jail, where we spent 15 days for participating a protest against the results of the Dec. 4 parliamentary elections, the Moscow-based newspaper said today.
