Absa Capital’s NewGold ETF Lists on the Nigerian Bourse

Absa Capital, the corporate and investment banking unit of Absa Group Ltd., listed its NewGold Exchange Traded Fund on the Nigeria Stock Exchange today, the bourse said.
“This is the first of many exchange traded funds to come,” Oscar Onyema, chief executive officer of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, told reporters today in Lagos, the commercial capital. Several other applications have been received and are being considered, he said.
