Charter CEO Says Interested in Possible Verizon Wireless Pact

Michael Lovett, chief executive officer of Charter Communications Inc., said the cable company is interested in discussing an alliance with Verizon Wireless, the largest U.S. mobile-phone operator.
Verizon Wireless struck a deal with Comcast Corp. and Time Warner Cable Inc. last week that allows them to market mobile-phone services to their customers.
