An explosion hit the front of a minibus parked near the British Embassy in Bahrain today and authorities are taking “the necessary legal measures,” the Interior Ministry said in a posting on Twitter.

There were no casualties at the embassy or damage at the facility, British Embassy spokesman Altaher Al-Jamal said in a telephone interview. He said the blast occurred just after midnight and the vehicle was parked 50-70 meters (164-230 feet) from the embassy.
