Sky Deutschland May Bid for More Bundesliga Rights, Focus Says

Sky Deutschland AG may offer to buy additional broadcast rights for matches in the Bundesliga, Germany’s top soccer league, to extend its coverage to Internet TV and mobile devices, Focus said.
Sky Deutschland owns the basic broadcast rights, Chief Executive Officer Brian Sullivan told the Munich-based magazine. The additional rights are owned by Deutsche Telekom AG. The auction for rights to Bundesliga games from 2013 will probably start in January, according to Focus.
