Lufthansa CEO Doesn’t See Acquisitions as Priority, WiWo Says

Deutsche Lufthansa AG Chief Executive Officer Christoph Franz damped expectations that the German carrier may be seeking acquisitions, Wirtschaftswoche reported, citing an interview.
Asked whether Lufthansa is interested in buying Portugal’s state-owned airline TAP, Scandinavian carrier SAS or Poland’s LOT, Franz said Lufthansa can only selectively deal with acquisitions. Purchases take up management time, and the airline hasn’t reached the "finishing line" in its core business, he told the newspaper.
