Snoras Shareholders Detained in U.K. on Lithuanian Warrant

Vladimir Antonov and Raimondas Baranauskas, majority shareholders of Bankas Snoras AB that was taken over by Lithuania’s government on Nov. 16, have been detained in the U.K. after prosecutors in the Baltic nation issued an international arrest warrant.
“In response to the Europe-wide arrest warrant, the City of London Police arrested two men aged 36 and 53 in the City of London this afternoon,” a spokesman for the City of London Police said today by phone.
