National Basketball Association owners and players plan to meet after tomorrow’s U.S. Thanksgiving holiday for settlement talks, their first meeting since discussions broke down Nov. 14 and players dissolved their union and sued the league.

Jonathan Schiller, of Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP that is representing players in their legal battle with owners, said today in an e-mailed statement that there will be “preliminary settlement discussions with the NBA immediately after Thanksgiving with regard to the lawsuit filed recently by the players.”
