Maybourne Holder McKillen Plans Controlling Stake, Times Says

Patrick McKillen, who owns 36 percent of Maybourne Hotels Ltd., has accumulated 50 million pounds ($79 million) to buy a further 20 percent of the London hotel operator and take a controlling stake, the Sunday Times reported, without citing anyone.

The Northern Irish property investor has sold an office building in Paris and a property on London’s Oxford Street to add to his funds, it said. He has also held talks with Deutsche Bank AG and U.S. investment banks regarding bank financing for an accord, the newspaper said.
