Turkey to Buy Three Attack Helicopters From U.S., Star Reports

Turkey will purchase three military helicopters from the U.S. in a deal worth $111 million, the Star newspaper reported.
The attack helicopters manufactured by Textron Inc. unit Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. will be used to combat the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, starting as soon as June, according to the Istanbul-based newspaper.
