A preliminary hearing for Pennsylvania State University Athletic Director Timothy Curley and Gary Schultz, a former vice president of the school, was postponed at the request of state prosecutors.

The two men, charged with perjury and failing to report allegations of child sex abuse against former football coach Jerry Sandusky, were scheduled to appear Nov. 17. The hearing will now take place on Dec. 6. Lawyers for Curley and Schultz protested the delay.
