Euro Zone Hangs on ECB Bond Buying, Krugman Tells Handelsblatt

Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman said the European Central Bank will ultimately have to buy as many bonds “as necessary” to save the euro zone, Handelsblatt reported.
Inflationary risks from excessive bond buying are manageable, the newspaper quoted Krugman as saying in an article to be published tomorrow. “We’re not facing the German Hyperinflation year of 1923,” Krugman said according to Handelsblatt.
