Osborne Says Greek Referendum Decision Has Added to Instability

U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne said Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou’s decision to call a referendum on the euro-area rescue plan has added to instability in the region.
“The decision of the Greek prime minister has added to the instability and uncertainty in the euro zone,” Osborne told lawmakers in the House of Commons in London today. “What we’re trying to do is introduce stability and certainty in the euro zone.”
