RBC Capital Markets Hires Vo From Goldman Sachs and UBS’s Eves

Royal Bank of Canada’s investment banking unit hired Johnny Vo and James Eves to add to its team advising clients in the financial services industry in London.

Vo is a former a co-head of European insurance research at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., while Eves was head of financial institutions equity capital markets at UBS AG, Toronto-based RBC Capital Markets said in an e-mailed statement today. The pair will report to Robin Mackie and Mike Carter, co-heads of RBC’s European financial institutional group, the firm said.
