Mazda to Halt All Production in Thailand Until Oct. 22

Mazda Motor Corp. will halt production of passenger cars in Thailand from tomorrow until Oct. 22 due to a shortage of parts.
The Japanese automaker has halted production of passenger cars during the evening shift since Oct. 13 and all production of pick-up trucks since Oct. 11, Toyota Tanaka, a spokesman for Mazda, said by telephone. Mazda has yet to make a decision on production plans after Oct. 25, he said.
