CBD Energy Agrees to Acquire Retailer Neighbourhood Energy

CBD Energy Ltd., an Australian renewable energy company, agreed to acquire energy retailer Neighbourhood Energy from Alinta Energy, according to a filing to the Australian Stock Exchange.
CBD will pay A$24.9 million for Victoria-based Neighbourhood, which has 65,000 customers. CBD said the purchase will help it to deliver its solar, wind and energy-efficiency products.
