Russia may merge its air defense system with that of Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti reported, citing Valery Gerasimov, the deputy chief of Russia’s general staff.
Russia already operates a joint air defense system with Belarus and Armenia and plans a similar arrangement with Kazakhstan, RIA cited Gerasimov as saying.
