Denmark’s mortgage bonds are defying downgrades by Moody’s Investors Service as an increasing number of international buyers snap up the securities.

Nykredit A/S, Europe’s biggest issuer of covered bonds backed by mortgages, has seen its international investor base grow to close to 20 percent, compared with about 13 percent a year ago, Chief Executive Officer Peter Engberg Jensen said.
