Arab Potash First-Half Profits Rise 82% to 128.7 Million Dinars

Arab Potash Co. said its net profit rose 83 percent to 128.7 million dinars ($181.7 million) in the first half of 2011, compared with 70.2 million dinars during the same period last year.
Revenue increased 17 percent in the period to 308.8 million dinars from 257.3 million dinars during the same period last year, it said in a filing posted on the website of the Amman Stock Exchange.
