Chilean salmon farmer Multiexport Foods SA ended a three-day losing streak today after authorities said a virus recently confirmed at one fishing center had not affected production, quelling fears of an outbreak.
Multiexport, the only salmon farmer that is a member of Chile’s benchmark IPSA index, rose 3.1 percent to 157.12 pesos at 4:30 p.m., after falling 17 percent in the previous three sessions.
