Barclays Wealth Appoints Gilbert as MENA Head, Replacing Nashaat

Rory Gilbert, the managing director and head of high net worth business in the U.K. and Ireland at Barclays Wealth, has been appointed as private banking head for the Middle East and North Africa, replacing Soha Nashaat.

“We can confirm that Rory Gilbert has assumed the role of head of Middle East and North Africa, International Private Banking - EMEA at Barclays Wealth,” the bank said today in an e-mailed statement in response to questions from Bloomberg News. “Nashaat will be assuming a client and strategic advisory role within Barclays Wealth.”
