David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox and Prince Fielder of the Milwaukee Brewers were named captains of Major League Baseball’s All-Star home-run derby teams.
Ortiz, the winner of the 2010 derby, selected his teammate, first baseman Adrian Gonzalez; Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays; and New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano for the American League team.
