E.ON’s Oskarshamn-1 Nuclear Reactor in Sweden Starts Production

E.ON AG, Germany’s largest utility, restarted its Oskarshamn-1 reactor in Sweden yesterday after annual maintenance, the company said in a message via the Nord Pool Spot AS power exchange.
The 473-megawatt facility halted on April 18 and was first scheduled to resume on May 11, according to the message. The Dusseldorf-based company controls 55 percent of the Oskarshamn plant and Fortum Oyj of Finland owns the rest.
