Highview Point Partners Files for Chapter 11 Protection

Highview Point Partners LLC, a Connecticut investment management firm focused on emerging markets, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with as much as $500 million in debt, according to a court filing in Wilmington, Delaware.
Highview Point, based in Stamford, had as much as $500,000 in assets, according to the filing. The company’s largest unsecured creditors are Highview Point Offshore Ltd. and Highview Point Master Fund Ltd., both based in the Cayman Islands, and Highview Point LP in Stamford, according to the filing. The amounts of their claims weren’t listed.
