NFL Appeal of Lockout-Lifting Order to Get Expedited Review

A National Football League challenge to a federal judge’s order directing the league to end its player lockout will be given expedited review by a U.S. appeals court.
The St. Louis-based Court of Appeals today scheduled a June 3 hearing for arguments from players’ and owners’ lawyers on whether the April 25 order by U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson can stand.
