Desire Declines to 7-Year Low After Abandoning Ninky Well

Desire Petroleum Plc, the U.K. explorer focused on the North Falkland Basin, fell to a seven-year low after plugging and abandoning the Ninky well.

Shares slumped 63 percent to 15 pence in London, the lowest since May 2004. Rockhopper Exploration Plc, which holds 7.5 percent in the well, fell 6.5 percent to 233.5 pence.
