Mozambique’s Nacala Airport to Cost $110 Million, Noticias Says

Odebrecht S.A., a Brazilian construction and engineering company, said conversion of Mozambique’s Nacala military air base to an international airport will begin this month, Noticias reported, citing an unidentified person.
The Maputo-based newspaper said the project will cost an estimated $110 million and will process 300,000 passengers per year when completed. The airport will handle direct flights to destinations in Africa, Asia and the Americas, Noticias said.
