Endo to Acquire American Medical Systems for About $2.9 Billion

Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. said it agreed to buy American Medical Systems Holdings Inc. for $30 a share, or $2.9 billion in cash, which includes the assumption and repayment of $312 million of AMS debt.
