Mauritius to Start Building New Dam in September, l’Express Says

Mauritius will start construction of a second dam in September with a capacity of 13 million cubic meters (43 million cubic feet) of water, l’Express said, citing parliamentary answers from Utilities Minister Rashid Beebeejaun.
The 3 billion-rupee ($105 million) project, to be built about 60 kilometers (37 miles) south of the capital, Port-Louis, will be financed by China, the newspaper said.
