Tepco Says Smoke Rising From Reactor 3; Workers Are Evacuated

Tokyo Electric Power Co. said smoke was seen rising from the building of the No. 3 reactors at its stricken nuclear plant in Fukushima north of Tokyo at about 3:55 p.m. local time. Workers were evacuated from the building, spokesman Kaoru Yoshida said at a briefing in Tokyo.
