Hawk-Eye, Sports Ball-Tracking System, Bought by Sony, FT Says

Sony Corp. said it’s agreed to buy Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd., a U.K. company that provides a computer-based ball-tracking system for tennis and cricket, the Financial Times reported.

The Japanese company didn’t say how much it paid; analysts have estimated that it might be worth 20 million pounds ($32 million), the newspaper said.
