Norilsk Nickel Offers Rusal $12.8 Billion for 20% of Own Stock

OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel, the world’s biggest nickel producer, offered $12.8 billion cash to buy 20 percent of its shares from United Co. Rusal.
The offer is valid until 6:00 p.m. on March 4 in Moscow, Norilsk said today in a statement on its website.
