Christie First Year as New Jersey Governor a Success, Poll Says

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s first year in office was judged a success by a majority of the state’s voters, while almost 30 percent said he isn’t improving schools or providing property tax relief, two polls showed today.
Fifty-four percent of respondents to a Quinnipiac University poll said they consider the first-term Republican’s first 12 months as governor successful, compared with 35 percent who called it “a failure.” Fifty-two percent said they approve of his job performance.
