U.S. nuclear-power production fell after Exelon Corp.’s LaSalle 1 reactor in Illinois automatically shut when a main power transformer tripped offline.
Production from U.S. reactors dropped 1,127 megawatts from yesterday to 95,071 megawatts, or 94 percent of capacity, according to a report today from the NRC and data compiled by Bloomberg. Six of 104 units were offline.
