HSBC Says Hong Kong, Singapore Take Work From London

HSBC Holdings Plc Chairman Douglas Flint said the Asian banking centers of Hong Kong and Singapore are taking work from London as the bank decides whether to move its headquarters from the U.K.
“There’s evidence of quite noticeable growth in Singapore and Hong Kong,” Flint, 55, told a parliamentary committee at the House of Commons in London today. “There are three 200,000 square-foot buildings being taken by international banks in Singapore that might have gone somewhere else”.
