Obama Says U.S. Needs to ‘Up Our Game’ to Compete

President Barack Obama, following up on one of the main themes from last night’s State of the Union address, used a Wisconsin power technology company as an example of how the U.S. can maintain its competitive edge.
The U.S. needs “to up our game,” the president said after touring Orion Energy Systems Inc. in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, a city along the Lake Michigan shoreline about 80 miles (128 kilometers) north of Milwaukee. “We need to make sure American workers can go head-to-head with every other country on Earth.”
