Verizon Communications Inc. may pay a “fair dividend” to wireless partner Vodafone Group Plc, the first payment from their mobile joint venture since 2005, according to Verizon Chief Operating Officer Lowell McAdam.
The U.S. operator has withheld the dividend from its Verizon Wireless partnership to focus on paying down debt. Verizon said it may decide by the end of this year on a dividend for Vodafone, which owns 45 percent of the business.
