Iran wants talks with world powers in Istanbul this week to focus on politics and isn’t preparing to discuss its nuclear enrichment work, the country’s top negotiator told Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine.

“We want to talk about fundamental problems in world politics,” Saeed Jalili, General Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said in an interview. “Uranium enrichment for peaceful purposes is not up for discussion.”
