Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. has completed repairs on the Trans Alaska Pipeline, which carries 11 percent of U.S. crude production, and expects to restart the link today.

“We anticipate a full restart this morning,” Rachel Baker-Sears, a spokeswoman for the Unified Command, said from Fairbanks in Alaska. The Unified Command was set up in response to a leak earlier this month and includes Alyeska, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.
