Tunisian President Asks Ghannouchi to Form Cabinet

Tunisia’s interim President Fouad Mebazaa said he asked Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi to form a national coalition cabinet.
“It’s the country’s best interest that the government be a national unity government and so I asked Mr. Ghannouchi to propose the members of this government,” Mebazaa said in a national address on state television today.
