U.S. Judge Dismisses Investors’ Royal Bank Claims, FT Reports

A U.S. court dismissed claims against Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc by British investors who lost billions of pounds when the bank’s shares plunged in the period before its part-nationalization in 2008, the Financial Times reported.
Manhattan district judge Deborah Batts ruled that the investors couldn’t use U.S. courts to bring claims, because they had bought the shares in the U.K., the newspaper said.
