The U.S. House today approved a resolution honoring Representative Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims of the Arizona shooting rampage, as lawmakers rallied together to condemn the attack.

The resolution, agreed to by voice vote, condemns “in the strongest possible terms the horrific attack” and praises the “bravery and quick thinking exhibited by those individuals who prevented the gunman from potentially taking more lives.”
