Venezuela’s state-run bond and stock exchange, known as the Bolsa Publica de Valores Bicentenaria, will begin operations next week, Tomas Sanchez, head of the securities regulator said, according to Agencia Venezolana de Noticias.

The exchange will be launched with bond sales by two companies and will use Banco del Tesoro as an intermediary, Sanchez said, without providing more details, AVN reported.
