The National Labor Relations Board threw out results of an election in which Minneapolis employees at 10 Jimmy John’s sandwich shops rejected a bid to affiliate with a labor union.
The NLRB approved a settlement today nullifying the Oct. 22 election results, in which the Chicago-based Industrial Workers of the World failed to win enough votes at stores where union supporters said wages were low and working hours were too few.
