Microsoft’s Head of Server Software to Leave Company

Microsoft Corp. said President Bob Muglia, head of the software maker’s server and tools division, will leave this summer because Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer decided the unit needed new leadership.
Muglia, a 23-year veteran, will run the group while 3Microsoft conducts a search for his replacement, Ballmer said in an e-mail posted on the Redmond, Washington-based company’s website.
