Praktiker AG, Germany’s second-biggest home-improvement retailer, said fourth-quarter revenue dropped 6.2 percent, more than analysts had anticipated, as the company held fewer discount days.
Sales fell to 749 million euros ($984 million) from 799 million euros a year earlier, the Kirkel, Germany-based company said today in a statement. That missed the 773 million-euro average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
