Clorox Co., the maker of cleaners including its namesake bleach and Pine-Sol, slashed the top end of its revenue forecast for the year as sales across U.S. categories “remained soft” last quarter.

Clorox said today that sales will show little change to 1 percent growth in the year ending June 30. That compared with a previous forecast of little change to a 2 percent increase.
